A note from the pastor...
Tom Rohrer - Pastor of Adult Ministries
Pastor Tom Rohrer has served at North
Park as the Pastor of Christian Education and Seniors
Ministries since July of 1995. He received his education
from Grand Rapids Baptist College and Grand Rapids
Baptist Theological Seminary. Since their marriage
in 1967, Tom and Joyce Rohrer's priorities have
always been their children and church ministry.
Joyce is a nurse, spending many years working part
time in either a doctor's office, hospital, or nursing
home. Recently she has laid aside her nursing career,
and spends much of her available time in ministry
with Pastor Tom. North Park is the fourth full time
ministry for the Rohrers.
The Rohrers have two grown daughters, both of whom
are married to pastors. Their seven grandchildren
have brought special joy and much energy into their
lives. Pastor Tom's interests and hobbies include:
golf, investing in duplexes, Jeep riding on Silver
Lake Sand Dunes, spending time with family and friends.
Joyce enjoys all of the above except she substitutes
scrapbooking for golf.
